David Wilson

David Wilson currently serves as a senior vice president of development at LS Power, where he leads environmental strategy and permitting efforts in support of LS Power’s transmission and generation development initiatives nationwide.

With more than 25 years of experience, David plays a key role in managing environmental compliance from project conception through construction, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Since joining LS Power in 2006, David has directed permitting efforts for a number of major infrastructure projects, including the Central East Energy Connect Project in New York, the ON Line transmission project in Nevada, and the Silver Run Electric project in the Mid-Atlantic. His areas of expertise span a wide range of environmental programs and regulatory frameworks.

David began his career at Trinity Consultants, where he led air permitting and compliance reporting for major industrial and power generation clients.

David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas and is a registered professional engineer.
