Adam Gassaway
Executive Vice President, Development, LS Power
Adam Gassaway joined LS Power in 2007 and currently serves as executive vice president of development.
Adam is responsible for overseeing the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale transmission infrastructure projects as well as the pursuit of new business opportunities, and manages key commercial elements of LS Power’s 500 kilovolt (kV), 345 kV, and 230 kV transmission projects. He has experience across a wide spectrum of functions in the power industry and held prior project development and asset management roles before becoming a senior vice president in 2022, including managing a portfolio of generation assets totaling approximately 3,000 megawatts.
Adam has over 20 years of experience in the power industry with a focus on the executive management of all aspects of electric transmission projects. Prior to joining LS Power, Adam worked at Associated Electric Cooperative.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and graduated summa cum laude from Missouri S&T University (formerly the University of Missouri-Rolla).
