Casey Brandt
Managing Director & General Counsel, Transmission, LS Power
Casey Brandt joined LS Power in 2009 and currently serves as managing director and general counsel for LS Power’s transmission subsidiary, LS Power Grid.
Casey provides strategic business advice and legal leadership for the company and oversees all legal affairs for LS Power Grid and its subsidiaries, including transmission development, financing, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and risk management. Casey leads a team of attorneys supporting transmission operations across multiple states and has been instrumental in establishing LS Power Grid as a leading independent transmission developer and utility operator.
Before joining LS Power, Casey was an attorney in the global project finance group at Milbank, where he represented project sponsors and financial institutions in complex infrastructure financings worldwide.
He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as associate editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated magna cum laude from Oregon State University.
