Doug Mulvey
Senior Vice President, Development, LS Power
Doug Mulvey joined LS Power in 2006 and currently serves as a senior vice president of development.
Doug is responsible for overseeing the development of utility-scale transmission infrastructure projects and has held various prior management and technical roles throughout his career.
Doug has over 28 years of experience in the power industry across all aspects of high-voltage transmission infrastructure development and oversees projects in the Midcontinent ISO, California ISO, PJM, and ERCOT footprints. Doug has led or is currently leading an extensive portfolio of greenfield transmission projects including the development of 230, 345, & 500 kilovolt (kV) substations and transmission lines, including submarine transmission lines under the Delaware and Sacramento rivers. Prior to joining LS Power, he worked as an engineer at firms including MWH Americas, EnviroForensics, and ENSR International.
Doug received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He also received a Master of Science degree in environmental engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Business Administration in international business from the University of Phoenix. Doug is a registered professional engineer.
