Darin Ferguson
Vice President, Reliability Compliance, LS Power Grid
Darin Ferguson joined LS Power in 2018 and currently serves as vice president of reliability compliance.
Darin leads the development and oversight of the company’s compliance program for transmission utility and generation assets and provides regulatory leadership across LS Power’s operating footprint, ensuring compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Standards, various RTO/ISO requirements, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Standards of Conduct for Transmission Providers, and any applicable state regulatory codes of conduct.
With more than 35 years of experience in the electric power industry, Darin brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, internal controls, asset management and system operations. Before joining LS Power, he spent nearly three decades at Ameren Corp., where he held senior roles overseeing enterprise NERC compliance and played a key role in developing the company’s NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection compliance program and internal controls framework.
Darin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in administration from the University of Central Michigan.
