Mark Milburn

Senior Vice President, Development, LS Power

Mark Milburn joined LS Power in 2001 and currently serves as a senior vice president of development.

Mark is responsible for overseeing the development of utility-scale transmission infrastructure projects and has held various project management roles in his career at LS Power.

Mark has over 30 years of experience in the power industry with a focus on the development, design, and construction of traditional and renewable generation facilities and high-voltage transmission projects. He oversees the development of high-voltage projects in the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) and California ISO regions. He has led or is currently leading the development of numerous projects representing billions of dollars in capital investment, including the development of 500 kilovolt (kV) transmission lines, several 500 kV substations, and the largest STATCOM installation in North America. Prior to joining LS Power, Mark was a power engineering consultant and worked at firms including Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, and TÜV Energy Services.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a registered professional engineer.
